Museo Scienze e Archeologia

The Museum of Science and Archeology is located in Rovereto in Borgo Santa Caterina 41; two parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities are located along the street, about 20 m from the main entrance.

The entrance to the museum is preceded by a gate (always open during opening hours) and a courtyard with an initial slope of 7% (4 metres).

The property is spread over several floors and is served by an elevator.

On the ground floor we find the ticket area (76 cm high counter), the bookshop, the rooms dedicated to the plant world and earth sciences, as well as temporary exhibitions. From this floor, you can also access the garden, where you find the astronomical immersive set-up “Planetario” (presence of 49 cm long ramps with a 15% slope) and the lunar rover model. On the second floor, we find the sections dedicated to zoology and archeology. On the third floor, we find the conference room, furnished with moveable chairs, whose stage is preceded by a 180 – cm – long ramp (9% slope) and the toilets for people with disabilities.

TECHNICAL DATA

The entrance door is 107 cm wide (force required for opening 7 kg).

The internal ramps have a variable slope (from 5% to 15%) for lengths ranging from 49 cm to 180 cm.

The elevator that leads to the floors has an 80 – cm – wide door and dimensions of 108×139 cm (braille buttons).

The equipped toilets have a 90 – cm – wide door, dimensions of 180×183 cm; the toilet with front opening is 49 cm high with support handles on both sides; support handles also along the walls.
